5 tips for your Disneyland Paris trip
Sharing 5 tips to make your Disneyland Paris trip even better, including how to increase your chances of booking the most popular restaurants in the Disneyland Paris Parks and ways to save money.
Tip 1
The Disneyland Paris restaurants which take dining reservations are booked up quite quickly so we prefer to book sooner rather than later.
You can actually make a dining reservation for the restaurants in Disneyland Paris, before you have even purchased a Disney Hotel + tickets package, or the Disney Park tickets.
Just download the Disneyland Paris app, set up an account and you can book! Please note that if you are not a Disney Hotel guest, then restaurant bookings can only be made 2 months in advance.
I discovered that you could do this when I was researching restaurant availability for our favourite restaurants when planning one of our Disneyland Paris trips. We hadn’t booked the Disney Hotel + tickets package yet as we were waiting for the holiday dates to be approved in the system at work.
I have detailed Disneyland Paris restaurant reviews on my YouTube channel, like this one on PYM Kitchen!
Tip 2
A trip to Disney can get quite expensive so don’t forget to use their Price Estimate Calendar to see when the cheaper periods are.

It is more expensive and crowded in the parks during the holidays. It also means longer queue times. If you want to know more about the queue times and a crowd forecast, check out the Queue Times website.
Tip 3
Take the time to research the dining options in Disneyland Paris, especially if you have selected the Disneyland Paris meal plan as you want to make sure the meal plan is worth it.
There are lots of dining options so it’s worth familiarising with what’s available so you know which ones you would like to try and book a table before your trip to avoid disappointment! We love the table service and buffet restaurants and some are not to be missed!
Check out my video on the top 5 restaurants in Disneyland Paris here:
You can also see the menu and prices on the Disneyland Paris app so you can decide whether it is worth it to add the meal plans.
Don’t feel like you need to add the meal plans at the time of booking on the Disneyland Paris website. You can add it later on by phone or on the website!
Tip 4
Plan in some time in your trip to pop to a local supermarket to buy snacks and drinks. It’s quite expensive in the park and the costs adds up quickly! For example, a 500ml bottle of still water costs €3.50 (£2.90).
We go to the Auchan supermarket at Val D’europe which is one stop away by train (RER A) and there’s also a large shopping mall and an outlet called La Vallee Village which is similar to Bicester Village too!
Tip 5
Use the Disneyland Paris app to see which rides to go on ahead of the trip, take a look at the ride queue times and see whether it’s worth getting Premier Access. If you want to find out more about Premier Access and whether it’s worth it, check out my video on it.
Bonus tip!
You can get Disneyland Paris products at the Disney Store online!
